April 24; May 1, 2009: Daniel Kish delivers one day hands-on perceptual development workshops to mobility officer trainees at Birmingham University, England, with aim toward helping integrate perception based approaches into the training curriculum for future instructors.
March 14-15, 2009: Daniel Kish is keynote presentor on human sonar, including auditory scene analysis and training, at a symposium on bio-acoustics and animal sonar, organized by the University of Southern Denmark in Kerteminde. This symposium included some of the top world experts and scientists on bio-acoustics in animals. Here is some local TV coverage of this event.
March 13, 2009: Daniel Kaish delivers a 3–hour perceptual development and self directed discovery seminar at a national conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, sponsored by Instituttet for Blinde og Svagsynede. Over 60 mobility instructors from all over Denmark attended.
February 21, 2009: Daniel Kish delivers a presentation and demonstration on nonvisual perception and development to the R2K conference, sponsored by the Pediatric Therapy network. This conference was attended by Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapists, as well as other health care professionals, from all over the world.
November 18, 2008: Daniel Kish and Brian Bushway, Perceptual Mobility Coach, deliver a 2 hour seminar on perceptual development to social scientists at Asheville University in North Carolina.

July 11-12, 2008: Daniel Kish delivers an evening presentation in Poole, England, to local families and professionals on fostering self-directed achievement in blind children, and conducted training to young blind children and families. This event was sponsored by Common Sense.
July 9-10, 2008: Daniel Kish and Shawn Marsolais, President of Blind Beginnings, Canada, deliver a seminar and workshop on perceptual development and self directed discovery to the mobility staff at the Sensory Consortium in Berkshire, England. The workshop involved 8 blind children ages 5 to 13, and their parents.
July 3-4, 2008: Daniel Kish and Shawn Marsolais, President of Blind Beginnings, Canada, deliver a workshop on perceptual development and self-directed discovery organized privately by two very dedicated mobility officers from that region of Darlington, England. The workshop was attended by about 20 mobility officers from around northeast England, and involved three blind student assistants.

June 15, 2008: Seven year old Sam, a student of World Access for the Blind, is featured along with Daniel Kish, Professor Magnus Wahlberg, and Milo the Dolphin in an international documentary about animal sonar.
May 27, 2008: Canadian Para-Olympic champion Shawn Marsolais is featured on a half-hour Canadian television documentary learning to ride a bicycle from Daniel Kish.
May 23-29, 2008: Daniel Kish and Perceptual Mobility Coach Brian Bushway conducted student training and professional development workshops in Calcutta, India, with aim to establish the first known formal mobility program in the region. This project was sponsored by Calcutta Mercy Ministries.
